A member of Nebraska’s secondary entered the transfer portal on Wednesday.
Myles Farmer, a former three-star safety from the class of 2019, departed the Cornhuskers program after four seasons and entered the portal, according to several recruiting outlets.
Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule suspended Farmer for the start of preseason practice on Monday without disclosing why aside from saying it related to a failure to adhere to team standards, according to The Associated Press.
Farmer recorded a career-best 73 tackles across 11 starts last season. He was suspended for Nebraska’s Week 12 matchup against Michigan after being ticketed on suspicion of drunken driving.
Farmer has recorded at least six tackles and an interception in each of the past three seasons.
