The 12th man will soon have a nearby bar featuring Heisman-winning flair near Texas A&M.
Former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel will open his own Money Bar less than two miles from Kyle Field, home of the Aggies football stadium.
The bar will be located in College Station, Texas, according to its website and will open in fall 2023 according to its Instagram profile. The Aggies will open the 2023 season on Sept. 2 against New Mexico.
Manziel most recently played in an NFL game with the Cleveland Browns during the 2015 season. He’s also appeared in other football leagues such as the Canadian Football League
Johnny Manziel’s Money Bar hours will open at 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon on the weekends while it will close at 2 a.m. seven days each week, according to its website.
According to Jarrett Johnson of Aggies Wire, Manziel will open the bar and nightclub along with four other individuals.
While the menu and grand opening date are still coming soon in College Station, the Money Bar already has its roots deep within Texas A&M.
