Penn State quarterback commit Ethan Grunkemeyer got his senior season off to a monster start on Friday night. The Lewis Center (Ohio) Olentangy star threw four touchdowns and ran for another score as the Braves defeated Northwest Ohio power Toledo Whitmer.
Grunkemeyer, an Elite 11 participant this summer, has seen his stock rise significantly since committing to Penn State back in May and is now a consensus four-star prospect. Grunkemeyer should be very much in the mix for Ohio’s Mr. Football this fall and the season opening performance was a good step in that direction.
