Colorado held firm in its belief, all the way until the end.
The No. 19 Buffaloes, who dropped one spot in this week’s Associated Press Top 25 Poll, endured a physical, two-overtime bout with in-state rival Colorado State on Saturday night.
Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders threw two touchdowns in overtime including an 18-yard game-winner to Michael Harrison. Both teams gained over 400 yards as the Rams held the 499 yards to 418 advantage.
In this week’s poll, Texas and Florida State flipped places at No. 3 and No. 4. The Seminoles had a narrow 31-29 victory over Boston College, and the Eagles scored 19 unanswered points to end the game.
Oregon rose three places and made the highest climb this week to No. 10. The Ducks beat Hawaii 55-10 and quarterback Bo Nix went 21-for-27 with 247 passing yards alongside three touchdowns.
