Penn State added a big piece to its 2025 recruiting class on Wednesday afternoon, landing the commitment of four-star linebacker Dayshaun Burnett. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect chose the Nittany Lions over Pitt, West Virginia, and many others and gives Penn State its 10th commitment for the 2025 cycle.
Burnett joins a very talented group of linebacker commits for the Nittany Lions, who previously received commitments from fellow four-star prospects D.J. McClary and Alex Tatsch.
Burnett stars at Imani Christian Academy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
With Burnett’s commitment, Penn State now holds the No. 7 ranked class for the 2025 cycle via the 247Sports Composite team rankings.
