The Tennessee Volunteers are off to a good start to their 2025 recruiting class and on Saturday afternoon the Vols picked up a commitment from another priority in-state target. Memphis (TN) Collierville wide receiver Joakim Dodson chose the Vols over offers from Ole Miss, Missouri, and Arkansas among others.
Dodson is commitment No. 6 for Tennessee in the 2025 recruiting class and joins Top 100 quarterback prospect George MacIntyre as the second in-state pledge for the Vols so far this cycle.
Dodson’s commitment moves Tennessee into the No. 10 spot in the 247Sports Team Composite rankings for the 2025 class. Dodson hauled in 52 receptions as a junior at Collierville High and found the endzone 10 times. He is rated a three-star prospect on all of the major recruiting services.
