Texas A&M lands in-state running back

The Texas A&M Aggies landed one of its top in-state priorities on Monday evening in DeSoto (Texas) star Deondrae ‘Tiger’ Riden. The four-star prospect announced his commitment on his Twitter account, becoming the Aggies’ fourth commitment in the 2025 class, but the third since late January as things are starting to pick up under new head coach Mike Elko.

Riden was a key factor in DeSoto winning a state championship this past season. The 5-foot-10, 190-pound prospect rushed for 1,044 yards and 12 touchdowns in 10 games. Through three years at DeSoto High, Riden has 2,409 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns.

Riden is a consensus four-star prospect who comes in at No. 216 overall on the 247 Composite and the No. 21 running back in the nation.
