INDIANAPOLIS — Alabama has consistently turned defensive players in high-round NFL Draft picks.
Linebacker Dallas Turner is among the next group of Crimson Tide defensemen to make an impact on the NFL. He’ll participate in the NFL Combine beginning Thursday when he takes on-field workouts and measurements.
Turner aims to add his name to a list that includes former Alabama linebacker Will Anderson Jr. and fellow NFL Draft entrant Chris Braswell as previous Crimson Tide linebackers to take their games to the next level.
Turner said he learns “every single day” from players like Anderson and Braswell, and it provides him an added opportunity to look forward to a professional career.
“We’re close off the field and have a lot of fun, but we learn off each other,” Turner told the media on Wednesday afternoon. “All three of us are different, and we kind of took bits and pieces from each other and fit them into the games we have.”
