INDIANAPOLIS — Michigan linebacker Junior Colson is taking momentum from the Wolverines’ national championship victory with him to the NFL Combine.
Colson racked up 95 tackles to lead the Wolverines and also batted two passes defended.
He’s one of 18 Michigan players at the combine, a record for the event. Colson said being involved in the Wolverines culture helped him reach this point in his career.
“One of 18 baby, it’s phenomenal,” Colson said. “I think we could still have more. Being able to have those guys come out here show our talent show our skills to everybody. It’s a testament to all the guys that bought and all the guys that stayed. If you stay you’ll be champion and that’s what happened.”
