INDIANAPOLIS — There are few linebackers who had a more decorated season in 2023 than Texas A&M’s Edgerrin Cooper.
Cooper collected consensus All-American honors after putting up career highs across the board last season. He totaled 83 tackles, 17 for loss and eight sacks, which were tied for third-most in the Southeastern Conference.
Cooper said he’s taking the process “one step at a time” in the build toward the NFL Combine, which begins Thursday for linebackers, and the biggest thing he’s realized throughout his career is himself.
“Just figuring myself out,” Cooper told the media on Wednesday afternoon. “Learning the ways I can make myself great and just how I can improve my qualities all over the field.”
