INDIANAPOLIS — UCLA defensive lineman Laiatu Latu had an impressive two-year career with the Bruins.
Transferring in prior to the 2022 season, Latu played in 25 games at UCLA and totaled 85 tackles.
Latu’s 2023 season may be considered his best in a Bruins uniform. He had 21.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks along with two interceptions and forced fumbles.
At the combine in Indianapolis, Latu said he’s finding out what the biggest priorities are for him leading up to the NFL Draft in April.
“Really just learning more about myself, about my teammates,” Latu told the media on Wednesday afternoon. “Making an impact on the team, on the field. Helping to get a win every week as much as I can no matter what I’m doing at least helping as much as I can get those wins, and man, if I get that starting role, that’d be a dream come true as well.”
