INDIANAPOLIS — UTEP’s Tyrice Knight was a force to be reckoned with last season on the football field.
The Lakeland, Florida, native led Conference USA with 140 tackles in 2023. Knight also compiled seven passes defended and 4.5 sacks, which both were career bests.
Knight said he can compete with anybody and “still hang around” in both the pass and run games on defense. Ahead of the NFL Combine beginning Thursday, Knight plans on standing out.
“Everything we do, I’m going to surprise everybody for sure,” Knight told the media on Wednesday afternoon. “People probably got a lot of doubt, but it’s up to me to show everybody that that’s wrong.”
