INDIANAPOLIS — Clemson running back Will Shipley is eyeing a big impact on the NFL Combine.
Shipley dealt with knee and leg injuries throughout the 2023 season including in the Tigers’ Gator Bowl win over Kentucky. He persevered through and played 12 games for Clemson last season totaling 827 rushing yards and five touchdowns.
Shipley wants to return to form when he scored at least 11 touchdowns and ran for at least 725 yards which he did in each of his first two seasons at Clemson. Shipley said his film speaks for itself, and he hopes to find his next opportunity leading up to the NFL Draft in April.
“For me, I think that my film shows what I can do on the field,” Shipley told the media on Friday. “There’s no doubt about that. But being able to meet with these teams and show them the person that I am and the intangibles that I have that will result in success for me at the next level.”
