Former Ohio State defensive tackle Hero Kanu announced on Wednesday that he will be transferring to Texas. Kanu will have two years of eligibility in Austin and was one of the top remaining defensive lineman in the portal.
The German Import spent two seasons at Ohio State recording 14 tackles and a sack.
It won’t be long before Kanu sees his former teammates. Texas opens its 2025 season with a late August trip to Columbus to face the Buckeyes in what could potentially be a No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup.
