The hype train came to a halt in Eugene, Oregon.
Bo Nix threw three touchdowns and the No. 10 Ducks raced past No. 19 Colorado 42-6 on Saturday, extending their start to 4-0 this season and handing the Buffaloes their first loss.

Nix and Oregon held a 35-0 halftime lead behind three touchdown passes and 378 total yards. The Ducks defense held Colorado to 21 yards in the first half.
The loss marks the first for Colorado under head coach Deion Sanders. Sanders and the Buffaloes got out to a 3-0 start, a turnaround for the program which finished 1-11 a year ago.
Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders threw his only touchdown pass of the game in the fourth quarter. He avoided a shutout and found receiver Michael Harrison six yards over the middle with 2:51 left in the game.

Oregon running back Troy Franklin added a pair of rushing touchdowns during the game. He had a game-best 126 rushing yards on eight carries.
Nix threw for over 300 yards for the second time this season and reached three passing touchdowns for the third time. Oregon had 144 second-half yards compared to Colorado’s 178.
