Another quarterback in the transfer portal has found his next stop.
According to Pete Thamel of ESPN, former Ohio State quarterback Kyle McCord will transfer to Syracuse ahead of the 2024 season.
McCord was the Buckeyes’ starting quarterback last season, emerging from a quarterback competition in the preseason.
He started all 12 games and went 11-1 with his only loss coming at Michigan.
McCord totaled 3,170 passing yards and 24 touchdowns to six interceptions last season.
In his Ohio State career, McCord played in 24 games and threw for 3,776 yards and 27 touchdowns.
McCord will join a Syracuse team led by Fran Brown, who was hired to succeed former Orange head coach Dino Babers in November.
