The Georgia Bulldogs started out their 2026 recruiting class in just about the best way imaginable, landing five-star Nashville (Tenn.) Christian Academy quarterback Jared Curtis on Saturday afternoon.
Curtis, considered by many to the be the top quarterback prospect in the 2026 class, chose the Dawgs over Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M, among many others.
The commitment gives Georgia a foundational piece to build around in the class as Curtis possesses immense arm talent to go along with plus-level athleticism for the quarterback position.
Curtis is not only considered by many to be the top signal caller in the class, but 247Sports has Curtis rated as its No. 1 overall prospect.
A starter since his freshman season, Curtis has amassed 4,835 yards and 52 passing touchdowns already in his high school career. He has also added 1,026 rushing yards and 20 more scores on the ground.
