]]> Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks picked-up a major commit last week with the pledge of Long Beach (Calif.) linebacker Dylan Williams. The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder picked the Ducks over finalists that included Michigan State, Miami (Fla.), UCLA and Washington.

Williams is a four-star recruit in the class of 2024 and at one point was a commitment to USC before deciding to step back and re-examine things.

Southern Cal’s loss is Oregon’s gain as the Ducks continue to recruit the state of California at a high level. Will that be something that will continue or even increase once the Trojans and Bruins both move to the Big Ten?

The Ducks now have 19 commits in the class of 2024 with Williams joining Kingston Lopa at the linebacker position in this current class.

Oregon further strengthens its position in the top-10 of the national team recruiting rankings with the addition of Williams. It only trails USC in Pac-12 recruiting with Stanford several spots below with its 28 commits in the current class.
