Reports: Colorado hires Cincinnati Bengals’ Robert Livingston as DC

Colorado is reportedly hiring Cincinnati Bengals secondary and safeties coach Robert Livingston as its next defensive coordinator.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Livingston is “expected” to join Deion Sanders’ coaching staff after nine years with the Bengals.

Livingston has a long history with the Bengals. He’s spent eight seasons as secondary coach and six with the team’s safeties.

Prior to his role as secondary coach Livingston was a Bengals scout covering the southeast and Atlantic Coast and Southeastern conferences.

The Hendersonville, North Carolina, native also coached at Vanderbilt in 2011 as a defensive quality control coach.

Livingston also coached in 2010 at Furman working primarily with safeties.
