According to Jon Sauber of Centre Daily, Yurcich was let go on Sunday. He will not coach the remainder of the season.

Penn State head coach James Franklin announced the change in a statement, according to Adam Rittenberg of ESPN. 

“We thank Mike for his contributions over the last three years but feel it is in our program’s best interest to make a change at this time,” Franklin stated.

The Nittany Lions lost 24-15 to No. 3 Michigan on Saturday. They’re second in the Big Ten Conference in scoring offense averaging 37.7 points per game and fifth in total offense averaging 378.4 yards per game. 

Running backs coach Ja’Juan Seider and tight ends coach Ty Howle will serve as co-offensive coordinators, according to Rittenberg.
