]]> One Group of Five program is adding a quarterback from the transfer portal.

According to Pete Thamel of ESPN, former Oregon quarterback Ty Thompson will transfer to Tulane.

Thompson posted a commitment graphic on X on Friday.

Thompson spent three seasons with the Ducks program. He appeared in 17 games including seven in each of the past two years.

Thompson became the first five-star quarterback to sign with Oregon when he arrived as part of the class of 2021.

Across his 17 games, Thompson threw for 456 yards and six touchdowns. He also rushed for 56 yards including a career-high 48 yards this season.

Tulane will look to build off its 11-3 season in which it appeared in the American Athletic Conference Championship and made it to the Military Bowl against Virginia Tech.
