USC QB Williams leads Preseason AP All-America team 

USC quarterback Caleb Williams led 27 selections to the First Team Associated Press preseason All-America team released Monday

Williams is the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, following a sophomore season in which he threw for 4,537 yards and 42 touchdowns to five interceptions. 

Georgia led with four First Team selections: Brock Bowers at tight end, Sedrick Van Pran at center, Jamon Dumas-Johnson at linebacker and Malaki Starks at safety. 

The Big Ten led the way with 10 selections to the First Team and Ohio State had the most with three. Michigan, Penn State and Iowa each had two First Team picks. 

The AP also released a 27-player Second Team preseason All-America squad. The Preseason AP Poll released Aug. 14
