Reports: QB Tyler Van Dyke to transfer to Wisconsin

One Miami quarterback is on the move.

Former Miami quarterback Tyler Van Dyke announced on X on Tuesday that he’s committing to Wisconsin.

Van Dyke entered the transfer portal after the regular season. He spent the past four seasons with the Hurricanes.

The Glastonbury, Connecticut, native accumulated 7,469 passing yards and 54 touchdowns to 23 interceptions in 32 games at Miami.

Van Dyke threw for 2,703 yards and 19 touchdowns this season. He set a career-high 65.8% completion.

Van Dyke had a career year in 2021. He threw for 2,931 yards and 25 touchdowns, both career-highs, on his way to 2021 Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Year and Offensive Rookie of the Year.
